Overview:

Groww is now looking to hire a competent Equity Research Analyst focused on Asset Management Companies (AMC). As part of this role, you will be responsible for providing unbiased investment research to the fund management team to aid in making well-informed investment decisions. Ideal candidates should have a strong foundation in their respective sectors, along with analytical skills to grasp emerging trends and sectors. We are seeking team players with high ethical standards and a drive to enhance their skill set to potentially become future fund managers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain earnings, valuation, and industrial models for the assigned sector(s).
  • Analyze data to pinpoint emerging opportunities and risks.
  • Identify actionable investment ideas and offer timely buy/sell recommendations.
  • Keep proper documentation and consistently monitor industry news, trends, and developments. Share insights with the team promptly.
  • Conduct primary research methods to stay updated on trends and sentiments in sectors and markets.

Job Requirement:

Requirements for the role include a Master’s degree in finance, economics, or CA, with 0-2 years of relevant experience. Candidates should possess a deep understanding of covered sectors, as well as fundamental analysis, financial modeling, and valuation. Possession of CA, FRM, CFA, or MBA certifications is an added advantage.
