Unlocking the Benefits of Purchasing Gas at Costco

I love shopping at Costco every week because I have a big family of five and we go through a lot of food together. Plus, Costco always has the cheapest gas in town, so I time my trips to fill up my tank when I shop there. It doesn’t make sense for me to drive out of my way for cheap gas in my big minivan, but filling up at Costco before shopping saves me time and money.

However, there’s one disappointing thing about buying gas at Costco that you should know about. The long lines at Costco’s gas stations mean it takes longer to fill up there. But that’s not even the most disappointing part. Executive members at Costco don’t get cash back on gas, even though they pay more for their membership.

Costco has two types of memberships – the basic Gold Star for $60 and the Executive for $120 per year. Executive members get 2% cash back on purchases, but not on gas at Costco. To make up for it, use a credit card with great gas rewards or look for cash discounts at other stations. By paying in cash or using the right credit card, you can save even more than 2% on your gas fill-ups.

Even though it’s a letdown that Executive members don’t get cash back at the pump, don’t stop filling up at Costco. Use a cash back credit card and look for additional discounts to save while you gas up. #CostcoGas #GasStationTips #SaveOnGas #CashBackDeals
