New Delhi. Neeraj Chopra, who created history in Tokyo Olympics, has once again raised the honor of the country. This time he has created history by winning the silver medal in the World Athletics Championship held in America. He became the first Indian to win a silver medal in this championship. Prior to her, Anju Bobby George won a bronze medal in the long jump at the 2003 World Championships in Paris. Neeraj won the silver medal with a throw of 88.13 meters. This is India’s first medal in the World Championship after 19 years. His success is special in that his first attempt in the final was a foul. After this, he got the silver medal on the basis of a strong comeback throw. The whole country is rejoicing on his success.
Wrestler Bajrang Punia, who won a bronze medal in Wrestling in Tokyo Olympics, also congratulated Neeraj on winning the silver medal in the World Championship.
